Hezbollah Fires Missiles at Israel
Israel has launched airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after detecting moves to fire missiles, the Israeli military said on Saturday.
The airstrikes targeted Muhammad Najam, a senior Hezbollah commander, in the village of Ayta al-Jabal.
The Israeli military said the airstrikes were in response to a rocket attack from Lebanon earlier on Saturday.
Hezbollah Commander Killed
The Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday that it had killed Hezbollah's top military commander, Fuad Shukr, in an airstrike in Syria.
Shukr was responsible for planning and executing attacks against Israeli targets.
Hezbollah Retaliates
Hezbollah responded to the Israeli airstrikes by launching a rocket attack on Israel.
The attack caused no casualties, but it did damage several buildings.
